We created the key visual for ZIP, a group exhibition held at Arko Art Center, and designed the full range of promotional materials both online and offline, as well as the exhibition catalog. Featuring 16 female sculptors, the exhibition was built around the concept of a ”zipper.“ To reflect this, we stacked the artists’ names like sculptural forms and used vertical and horizontal lines to translate the zipper motif into typography and graphic elements.
For the poster, we used vivid spot colors—bright orange and blue—to draw attention. For the catalog, we chose a thick, highly textured cover stock and added embossing to evoke a sense of sculptural presence. Vertical lines run throughout the pages, lending visual depth to the flat surface.
